Walking path along Lake Taneycomo from Bass Pro parking lot to Branson North Park. The lakefront, 2 mile trail is level and paved. You'll seee boat docks, ducks and geese. In the middle of the trail is the Branson Landing Fire and Water Fountain Show. Shows are hourly every day starting at 12:00pm - 9:00pm. You will be amazed by the dazzling interplay of water fountains shooting 120-foot geysers and fire cannons blasting, all choreographed to lights and music.

The new visitor center opened April 27, 2012 and has been called the "crown jewel" of Table Rock Lake. Exhibits at the visitor center include a state-of-the-art interactive map of Table Rock Lake and beautiful artistic wall murals. There is a 75 seat theatre showing a 22-minute film on the making of the Dam, showing each half hour.

Lake Taneycomo is a colder body of water, ideal for trout fishing. You can fish off the docks, feed the ducks and stroll through the park. (Must have a Missouri fishing license and trout stamp to fish.)

The new facility is more than 2 1/2 times the size of the old visitor center and now features a 7500-gallon aquarium, new exhibits focusing on local wildlife and habitats, a new multipurpose rooms a newly produced video on how the trout are raised at the hatchery. Food for the trout can be purchased from quarter machines.

With more than 750 miles of shoreline and approximately 43,000 acres of surface area (depending on water level), visitors are able to enjoy a variety of activities on the lake year round including swimming, boating, water sports, parasailing, kayaking and fishing. It is Missoui's deepest (200 ft) and clearest reservoir making it a nationally renowned fishing spot for Kentucky spotted bass, white bass, crappie, large bluegill and catfish of all sizes.
